SOCODIM STRENGTHENS ITS TIES WITH THE MLC GROUP IN THE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC

SOCODIM recently signed a major contract with the MLC Group, operating in the Central African Republic and Congo-Brazzaville, for the supply of 25 SHACMAN trucks and 30 trailers for its transport operations in Congo.

Subsequently, Mr. Julien CANH and Mr. Jean Charles CHANCEAU traveled to Bangui to meet Mr. Khaled TRAD, CEO of the MLC Group. This visit helped strengthen relations and consider a long-term partnership with SOCODIM.

MLC, a key player in river transport in Central Africa, connects Brazzaville, Kinshasa, and Bangui through a specialized fleet of boats and barges, including 43 dedicated to fuel transport.

In Bangui, the company manages two strategic infrastructures:

• a river port with two unloading docks,
• a 13.8-hectare dry port under development at the entrance of the city.

This mission confirms SOCODIM’s ambition to strengthen its regional presence alongside strong and strategic partners.
